Caring for Your new Mattress YOUR GUARANTEEUpdated 2 months ago

Rotating Your Mattress

Single-sided mattresses are designed to be used on one side only. For the first 4 months, rotate the mattress from end to end once every fortnight. After this period, rotate the mattress every 3 months.
Double-sided mattresses are designed to be both rotated and turned over. For the first 4 months, rotate and turn the mattress from end to end once every fortnight. After this period, rotate the mattress every 3 months.

Please Refrain

  1. Please refrain from jumping on your mattress, as it can cause irreversible damage.
  2. Do not sit on the side of your new mattress, as this can cause the edge support to bend.
  3. Avoid smoking in bed, as it can be fatal – tiny embers can smolder unnoticed and burst into flames.

Transportation

Your Creswick mattress must be placed on its side in a van or truck to be transported correctly. Using the correct transportation methods will prevent the steel support inside the mattress from bending.

Creswick Bedding Guarantee

This guarantee is provided exclusively for the original purchaser of the product (“the purchaser”). Creswick Bedding will repair or replace (at Creswick Bedding’s discretion) any manufacturing fault without charge to the original purchaser.

Creswick Bedding reserves the right to refuse service if the product is found to be in an unsanitary condition or if the product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship or materials.

If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, Creswick Bedding reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality.

During the first year after purchase, Creswick Bedding will cover transportation charges. After the first year, transportation charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser. In no case will any transportation charge be accepted without prior approval from Creswick Bedding.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

The benefits outlined in this document are in addition to your rights and remedies under Australian consumer law.

15-Year Mattress Guarantee

This guarantee covers specific manufacturing faults under normal use, including:

  • Defective workmanship in coils or wires that become loose or break.
  • Coils or wires that protrude or tear through the fabric.

This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from intentional or accidental abuse, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or transportation-related damage.

5-Year Base Guarantee

This guarantee applies to specific manufacturing faults under normal use, including:

  • Loose or broken foundation wires.
  • Splitting in the wooden frame.
  • Compression of the module.
  • Leg or caster failure.

How to Make a Guarantee Claim

Claims must be made through the retailer where the product was originally purchased.

Body Signatures

Body impressions, also known as "body signatures," are a natural part of mattress use. As the upholstery conforms to the body for comfort, all mattresses will develop these impressions over time.

To ensure even wear, rotate your Creswick mattress regularly as per the care instructions.

Please note:

  • Body impressions of up to 35mm on pillow-top mattresses and 25mm on non-pillow-top mattresses are considered normal and are not covered under this guarantee.
