Information about our wool/aramid blankets:

Our blankets exceed the AS4824 standard for Wildland Fire fighting, recognised by Australian FireAuthorities.

What makes our wool/aramid blankets unique and effective for personal protection?

The Wool Aramid DC10 blanket is used by CFA volunteers. It is classed as a multi use blanket; it is strong enough for multiple uses or to be used as a stretcher once it has already been through a fire.

The R2 Wool Aramid blanket is carried by the RFS, Fire and Rescue NSW and QFRS. This is a single use blanket and should be disposed of once exposed to radiant heat or flame.

The Wool Flame retardant blanket is endorsed by the CFA as a personal protection blanket to aid in flash situations. It protects against ember attack and radiant heat.
